As we grapple with longer fire seasons and more intense blazes, proactive measures are not just about preserving property but safeguarding lives, ecosystems, and the very character of our town.
As Mayor, I would ensure that our community is ready to respond swiftly and effectively to any crisis by implementing:
Advocacy for Insurance Reforms
Work to increase our wildfire readiness by encouraging the removal of invasive and incendiary vegetation.
Better methods of communication so our community can understand what to do and where to go in case of an emergency.
I will commit to helping make Ojai an even more enjoyable place to live with initiatives that enhance recreation, culture, and the everyday joys of life in our valley.

Enhancing Crosswalk Safety
Upgrading Road Infrastructure: Road repair isn’t just about filling potholes—it’s about building a future where our streets are sustainable & safe. My focus will be on repairing and maintaining roads on a timeline that serves our community while implementing traffic management solutions that reduce speeding and enhance overall safety for drivers, cyclists, and pedestrians alike.
Expanding Year-Round Recreation Programs & Creating Safe Spaces for Youth.
