Ojai is my forever home, and it’s a privilege that humbles me and fuels my commitment to protect its beauty and character. Living here with my husband and six-year-old daughter makes this place thriving a deeply personal mission. I frequently think about the Ojai that future generations will inherit.
With over a decade of grassroots organizing experience, from municipal to national campaigns, I know how to bring diverse voices together and drive meaningful policy change. I graduated with a dual degree in journalism and political science from The Ohio State University, which equipped me with the analytical skills to navigate complex issues. I’ve also worked as a policy advisor on a Congressional campaign, gaining firsthand experience in the channels of governance. On a local level, I have advocated for environment policy and rent stabilization at our City Council meetings and have become well-acquainted with how our city government operates and what it takes to work with diverse stakeholders to get things done.
I built a consulting business from the ground up serving Ventura County businesses and founded a nonprofit dedicated to proactive environmental measures. I’m running for office because I understand the balance of empathy and pragmatism needed to create a thriving, inclusive community. I hope to earn your vote on November 5th.
