CLIMATE ACTION
Living in Ojai with my young daughter, climate change isn’t just an abstract concept—it’s personal. The wildfires, droughts, and unpredictable weather patterns are daily reminders of the changing climate, and I worry about the world she’ll inherit. But this challenge also brings an opportunity for us to come together as a community. We can work towards solutions that protect our beautiful valley and ensure a safe, thriving future for our children.
As Mayor, I will work to:
Accelerate the decarbonization of city operations
Reduce Emissions From Buildings & Transportation
Preserve Our Natural Environment
Support Regenerative Practices
Direct city staff to pursue grant funding for electrification and efficiency projects.
Update the City of Ojai's contract with the Ventura County Sheriff for law enforcement services to include a requirement that all government owned vehicles reaching the end of their useful life be replaced with all electric vehicles.
